Mercers Trust: Streetz Ahead at St Mary’s University

On 13th April 2026, Streetz Ahead was delighted to attend the Mercers Projects Event at St Mary’s University alongside partners Mike and Dr Shalini.

The event brought together organisations and professionals who are passionate about supporting young people’s mental health and wellbeing. It created a valuable space for shared learning, collaboration, and meaningful conversations around the challenges young people face today and the different ways organisations are providing support within their communities.

Streetz Ahead was proud to share how our programmes use dance, mentoring, and creative engagement to support confidence, resilience, emotional wellbeing, and positive personal development for young people. It was inspiring to hear from other organisations and learn about the innovative approaches being used across the sector to make a lasting difference.

We are grateful to Mercers Trust and St Mary’s University for hosting such an important and engaging event. Streetz Ahead looks forward to continuing this partnership and building on the valuable conversations and connections made throughout the day.
