As a Youth Board member, your insights and personal experiences will be at the heart of what we do. Here’s what you’ll be up to:
● Attend Key Meetings:
Join one trustee meeting each year and take part in three Youth Board meetings per school term. You’ll be contributing directly to the big decisions shaping Streetz Ahead’s future!
● Be a VIP at Our Events:
You’ll get exclusive invites to all our annual events as a VIP guest! It’s your chance to meet key stakeholders, beneficiaries, and the wider Streetz Ahead family, while having some fun.
● Share Your Voice:
Use your personal experience and unique perspective to help us understand what young people need in terms of mental health support. You’ll be guiding us in the right direction by keeping our focus on what really matters.
● Lead and Influence:
Got a project idea? As a Youth Board member, you’ll have the opportunity to lead your own initiatives and help bring your vision to life!
● Be a Changemaker:
Take your role to the next level by becoming a strong advocate for mental health, inclusion, and positive change. Your ideas will help shape the way we support young people facing challenges like racism, ableism, and identity struggles.
