Richard House Hospice: Autumn Family Day

The Autumn Family Day at Richard House Hospice was a wonderful celebration of creativity, movement, and togetherness, bringing joy to families and children of all ages.
Streetz Ahead organised and ran a full day of seasonal arts, crafts, and outdoor activities, creating a fun and inclusive environment for everyone involved.

Activities included:
Autumn-themed crafts such as making hedgehogs, jumpy spiders, rainbow scratch cauldrons, and hand shakers.
Pumpkin decorating, with children designing and taking home their own uniquely styled pumpkins.
Parachute games that had children zooming under or lying across the parachute whilst we created a choppy sea around them.
A giant treasure trail across the gardens, where children searched for hidden gold coins and precious stones, winning big prizes along the way.
Trick or treating behind themed doors, where each child completed a fun mini-task before collecting their goodies.

Families also enjoyed a delicious hot lunch of pizzas and sandwiches, before the day concluded with a lively parents’ dance fitness class, bringing everyone together one last time for an energetic and joy-filled ending.
It was a fantastic day of creativity, connection, and community, filled with smiles, laughter, and memorable moments for all.
