Streetz Ahead Takes on the Ultimate Sherlock Holmes Escape Room Challenge!

At Streetz Ahead, we know that teamwork makes the dream work—both on and off the dance floor. So, during our recent trip to Birmingham, we decided to put our problem-solving skills to the ultimate test by tackling the hardest escape room we could find at Escape Now!

Our challenge? The Sherlock Holmes Escape Room. The legendary detective had gone missing, and it was up to us to crack the case. Armed with nothing but our wits (and a ticking clock), we had to decipher cryptic riddles, crack impossible codes, and even play a high-stakes game of chess to uncover the truth behind Sherlock’s disappearance. Every clue led us deeper into the mystery, testing our ability to think under pressure and work as a team.

We played to each other’s strengths, combining logic, creativity, and a bit of sheer determination to unravel the clues. Just as we were about to solve the final puzzle and reveal Sherlock’s whereabouts… the buzzer went off. Time was up! We were this close to victory! (Though, to be fair, a couple of their props were a little dodgy—so let’s just say we were unofficially successful 😉).

Even though we didn’t escape in time, the experience was an incredible team-building exercise that reminded us just how well we work together under pressure. If we can almost outsmart Sherlock, imagine what we can do when we put our heads together for Streetz Ahead!

Would we do it again? Absolutely. But next time, Sherlock better watch out—because we’re coming back for that win!
