Streetz Ahead Shines at the Haringey Education Achievement Awards 2024 ✨

On Friday, 15th November 2024, Streetz Ahead had the incredible privilege of attending the Haringey Education Achievement Awards (HEAA) at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This inspiring event, organised by the Haringey Virtual School and the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, celebrated the outstanding achievements of over 100 young people in care, aged 11 to 16, across categories such as Community Involvement, Leadership, and Outstanding Academic Achievement.

A Night to Remember

The evening was nothing short of magical, blending moments of recognition with performances that brought energy and creativity to the stage. The awards ceremony, hosted by alumni of the ‘To Care Is To Do’ programme, truly highlighted the resilience, potential, and accomplishments of Haringey’s young people.

For the Streetz Ahead team, it was a special night — not only because we had the honour of being part of such an inspiring celebration, but also because one of our very own Streetz Ahead dance teachers took to the stage with a fantastic performance! The audience was captivated, and we were so proud to see our passion for dance and creativity shared in front of such a wonderful crowd.

Streetz Ahead enjoyed a VIP experience at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, soaking up breathtaking views of the pitch from the exclusive VIP section. A highlight of the evening was the gourmet buffet — a delicious spread that added a touch of luxury to the celebration. Sharing this special moment with other organisations, community leaders, and supporters was truly uplifting, reminding us of the power of connection and collaboration.
