A powerful hip hop and dance theatre production for schools, families and young people.
Blending hip hop, rap, animation and dance theatre, JADE explores grief, neurodiversity, resilience and belonging, inspiring empathy, creativity and conversations around emotional wellbeing.
Funded by Arts Council England, written by Elizabeth Lahav and directed by ZooNation’s Eli Smith, JADE is part of Streetz Ahead’s commitment to creating original professional theatre that welcomes more children and young people into arts spaces.
Venue: Bernie Grant Arts Centre, Town Hall Approach Road, Tottenham Green, London, N15 4RX
Booking includes:
- Admission to the performance.
- A separate one-hour follow-up workshop led by a cast member and mentor (to be arranged on a different date).
- A wellbeing journal for each participating child, supporting discussions around emotional regulation, relationships, loss and neurodiversity.
