The Detention Tales
The Detention Tales is Streetz Ahead’s annual dance production, bringing together all of our dance clubs for an exciting showcase of talent, creativity and storytelling.
Set in a classroom where a group of students find themselves in detention, the story unfolds through imaginative adventures inspired by familiar tales and unexpected twists. Blending hip hop, dance, theatre and music, the production celebrates friendship, resilience and the power of working together.
Performed by hundreds of young dancers from across our community on April 24th 2027, The Detention Tales is a fun-filled family show that highlights the confidence, creativity and dedication of every performer while showcasing the incredible talent nurtured through Streetz Ahead’s programmes.
The show will take place at Bernie Grant Arts Centre, Town Hall Approach Rd, Tottenham Green, London N15 4RX.
