Our Recent BASE Holiday Connect Programme

Streetz Ahead was delighted to receive wonderful feedback following our recent BASE Holiday Connect session delivered in partnership with IntoUniversity Haringey North as part of their Primary Holiday FOCUS programme.
The session took place at a local community centre and was led by Streetz Ahead facilitators through our BASE programme, which focuses on supporting children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing through interactive and engaging activities. Throughout the session, students explored the Zones of Emotional Regulation, learned strategies for managing stress, and took part in creative activities focused on building the qualities of an ideal friend.
The programme encouraged young people to reflect on their emotions, relationships, and wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment, while also developing leadership skills, communication, and self-awareness. The active and creative nature of the session allowed students to fully engage and express themselves positively.
We were incredibly proud to receive such encouraging feedback from IntoUniversity Haringey North, who shared:
“Students thoroughly enjoyed the active and engaging nature of the activities, and reported developing their leadership skills, as well as how to control and monitor their feelings. It was great to partner with another local organisation who are passionate about supporting young people with their mental health and wellbeing, and the facilitators were highly supportive and passionate about what they do.”
At Streetz Ahead, we remain committed to creating meaningful opportunities that support the emotional wellbeing, confidence, and personal development of young people through creativity, mentoring, and education. We look forward to continuing to work alongside fantastic organisations like IntoUniversity to make a positive difference within our communities.
