Launching Mental Health Week with Our Mental Health Schools Tour

We were proud to launch Mental Health Week with the start of our Mental Health Schools Tour, bringing creativity, music, and meaningful conversations into primary schools across Haringey.
The tour is led by William Jones from Streetz Ahead, alongside artist Shocka, who performed his powerful song UNITE — a message of connection, strength, and togetherness that deeply resonated with young people.
First Stop: Chestnuts Primary School
Our first visit took place at Chestnuts Primary School, where pupils engaged with music and discussion around emotional wellbeing, identity, and supporting one another. The session created a safe and energising space for children to reflect, listen, and express themselves through sound and shared experience.
Reaching Schools Across Haringey
The Mental Health Schools Tour will continue across a number of schools and education settings, including:
-
Willow Primary School
-
Haringey Learning Partnership
-
Mulberry Primary School
-
Mora Primary School
-
Wellbourne Primary School
-
St Ann’s Primary School
Each session is designed to support children’s mental health through creative engagement, using music and storytelling as accessible tools to explore big feelings, resilience, and unity.

Why This Work Matters
Mental Health Week is an important moment to centre wellbeing — but these conversations need to continue all year round. By meeting young people in their school environments and using art they can relate to, the tour encourages openness, empathy, and connection from an early age.
We’re incredibly excited to continue this journey and grateful to the schools, artists, and partners who are helping us bring mental health conversations to life in such powerful and positive ways.
