End of Term Disco

Last Friday, 25th November ’22, was our end of term disco where over 150 children and parents came to celebrate 3 months worth of street dance classes! The evening gave them a chance to share all the progress they have made for their upcoming shows in Spring 2023 (Chatterbox) and Summer 2023 (End of year shows).

All the children came dressed to the nines, energised and ready to show off their cool dance moves, tricks and spins they’ve learnt in their dance sessions with Streetz Ahead’s talented dance teachers.

Most importantly though, it was a chance for the kids to let their hair down, make new friends from the many different schools in attendance and embrace all the personal growth they’ve made. Confidence building, nurturing interpersonal skills and communication is an important part of Streetz Ahead’s Dance Giants programme, many of whom were in attendance, as we incorporate mentoring sessions with each class. So this was a great opportunity for the kids to utilise what they’ve learnt and express themselves whilst connecting with others.

Disco’s take place at the end of each autumn term.
